Header Patterns
IDv3 currently has 1 header template.
Editing The Header
To edit the Header, visit Appearance > Editor > Patterns. Under Template Parts you’ll see Header.
Click Header, then click on the preview of the header you want to edit. Now click the little pencil icon to open the editor.
You can edit this like any other bit of content but I suggest keeping everything inside Group > Header > Row for layout consistency.
Sticky Headers
I have created a pattern that includes everything needed for a sticky header. To use it, you will have to edit the site templates.
Visit Appearance > Editor > Templates and in each template remove the header (including the group container block) and replace it with the Sticky Header Pattern.
You may also want to add some margin to the top of the element that follows the sticky header in each template. This will push your page content down because the sticky header actually overlaps the following container. If you need this, and what amount is needed, depends on the height of the header.
Pro Tip: I suggest giving the sticky header a background color so the header elements remain visible while scrolling. Add the color to the topmost group block in the sticky header pattern.

Transparent Headers
I have created a pattern that includes everything needed for a transparent header. To use it, you will have to edit the site templates.
Visit Appearance > Editor > Templates and in each template remove the header (including the group container block) and replace it with the Transparent Header Pattern.
If you are using a transparent header, you are likely using a cover block at the top of the page and it may be necessary to add padding to the top of the cover block to compensate for the height of the header now overlapping this content.
