Adding New Categories
Adding new Categories is simple.
Visit Posts > Categories in the WP admin menu. You should see something similar to the image here.
Enter a name for you category. Don’t worry about the slug. It is automatically generated.
You can select another category as the parent if you need a multi-level structure.
The description is generally not used so it can be left blank in most cases.
* If adding categories to a custom taxonomy, you wont visit Posts, but the post type (for example, Equipment, Products, ets.)
